Nehemiah 12 – The Israelites celebrated the wall being built and had a ceremony of dedication where they sang praise to God and brought their tithes and offerings. Singing and giving are ways we can celebrate with God has done.
Proverbs 14:1–18 – The wise stay on the wise path and their lives are better for it. Fools will destroy their own lives with foolish decisions. Liars are fools, but the wise are honest and careful with your words. Luke 18:31–43 - Jesus connected himself to the prophecies that told of the promised Messiah. Jesus asked the blind beggar what he wanted. He didn’t ask for money this time, he asked for site. Do we ask God for the right thing? Do we ask him to do the miraculous? Maybe the reason we don’t see the mighty hand of God as we don’t ask him for it. Titus 1:1–9 - There are guidelines for who should lead the church in order to protect the church from bad leadership. It is important to look for leaders with these qualities and characteristics.
