1 Chronicles 3–4 - Jabez was remembered because he was honorable and because of his bold prayer.

Psalm 125 – As we tune our hearts to God, he changes our desires and he makes us godly. Have nothing to do with evil people and don’t put them in positions of leadership if possible.

Luke 7:18–35 – Jesus explained how John was the fulfillment of prophecy even though many didn’t believe which also was a fulfillment of prophecy. Wisdom is proven in the lives of those who apply it and live it out. To be wise is not to simply know something you should do but to apply it to your life.

Colossians 1:15–29 – Because of who Jesus is it changes everything about who we are. Who he is drives us to carry a message of the gospel to others.
