1 Chronicles 5–6 – The leaders of the half tribe of Manasseh had a great reputation as warriors, but they were unfaithful to God. We can be successful in the world‘s eyes, yet fail in the most important way. The tribe of Levi carried out all the duties associated with the most high place and did all that Moses had commanded. A person who is called to ministry must be diligent to follow God‘s instructions.

Psalm 126 – If we sow tears of repentance, we will one day reap a harvest of joyful restoration. God response to repentance.

Luke 7:36–50 – The woman’s faith was demonstrated by her love for Jesus. Her faith saved her, not her demonstration of love, however her love was displayed in her actions. The actions of our lives should display a love for Jesus in response to who he is and what he has done.

Colossians 2:1–7 – True wisdom is found in Jesus. When we aren’t fully seeking and following him, we could easily be deceived by well-crafted arguments.
