November Day 11

Ezekiel 29-30 - God would destroy Egypt next because of their pride and failing to support Israel.  He allowed the torch of superiority to be passed from Egypt to Babylon.  While Babylon was not Godly, God used them to carry out his purposes. 

Job 10 - Job continues his complaint to his friends about his situation.  Here he sinks into what seems to be a little self pity and seems to have forgotten all the good days God had given him and longed for death.  In the midst of our suffering, we must remember that God is still good and that he can bring us through.

John 10:1-10 - Jesus is the good shepherd and the gate through which we find real life.  Those who belong to Jesus hear and recognize his voice.  

1 John 2:12-17 - Don’t live your life chasing after the temporary things of this world.  Instead spend your life chasing after God and the things of God.
